With the current Covid19 crisis we are no longer getting much, if any, meat from food stores, so we were delighted when Cristiana Calderan Bell donated 50 lbs of USDA inspected/processed sausage. Christina and her son Connor have a small farm in West Union and normally sell their pork at Farmacy in Easley and also weekly through Clemson Area Food Exchange. They raise Kunekune pigs (native to New Zealand) which Christina says have some of the best tasting pork in the world. (Check out Corva Bella Farm on Facebook). This time, Christina, Connor and some of their clients chose to donate the meat to the Food Pantry. On behalf of the less fortunate in our area, we thank them for their generosity!
