The Golden Corner Food Pantry was founded in 1985 when several churches in Oconee County got together with local assistance agencies to combine resources into a single food pantry.  From serving about 100 people that first year, the Golden Corner Food Pantry has grown to serving about 1400 client households per month but our ‘roots’ haven’t changed – our volunteers, financial and spiritual support largely comes from over 40 local churches, we help clients find (non-food) life changing support at other local non-profit and government assistance agencies, and we work closely with local and national civic organizations, and business and private foundations on addressing the needs of the community.

Is your organization or foundation looking to support a worthy cause that involves a joint effort to provide not only food but help to improve the quality of life for the poor, unemployed and disabled in our community? We hope that when you read the information below, check out our About Us pages, and view some photos and videos, you will be convinced that you have come to the right place.  Please contact us at for any additional information.
